I can’t win. Pivot fail.

So I switched to gears for one race and boom, 5 chain drops in a lap. I noticed some creaking a few weeks ago and assumed BB needed some lube. So last night I remove the crank and upon inspection I notice what looks like chipped paint around BB. Oh shit, remove BB and sure enough it’s cracked. When people say China doesn’t suck...china sucks.

Yes, but my buddy Don broke his 2018 in a month in the same spot. This is 500 miles max. It’s not likeI crash all the time or anything.

I demo'd one of those a couple years ago.. I liked my Anthem better...

The Les.... HOLY SHIT that was a rocket ship on climbs. I need a Les in my life.

That's not an actual carbon crack, is it? The shell just separated from the frame, right? (If not, that's a really weird way to crack a carbon frame.) That should be an easy warranty. That happened twice for me in the past with carbon bikes (both Treks) and it was just an easy replacement. I imagine Pivot would go the same way.

I've had 2 road frames fail in the same place, one after a week the other 4-5 months. I really don't understand why they don't reinforce some places more, light is good but not if the frame lasts a couple weeks.

ya I hear you, but look at it this way....we beat these bikes HARD and yet someone will still give us a warranty replacement....you remember being an MX guy...what happened the millisecond that bike left the dealership? G.F.Y!!!!!!!
