Baldpate Mountain
Contents
General Information
Baldpate Mountain is a relatively new park located on the highest point in Mercer County. The mountain is mostly wooded with some former pasture areas that allow excellent views of the Delaware River valley below. The trails are relatively primitive, but the network has been improving over the years. You can expect rocks, roots, gravel, and mud (after heavy rains). The park is lightly used, but during nice weather on the weekends you will encounter hikers and equestrians.
Please note that the park is usually closed Monday-Saturday during hunting season. Check with Mercer County for specifics.

Trails
Ridge or White Trail Just likes its name, the Ridge Trail runs along the ridge of the mountain from the original estate home to the new Pleasant Valley Road parking lot. The trail is one of the wider trails in the park and is multi-use. The trail rolls quite a bit, but there are no serious climb, descents or technical sections. This is the most heavily used trail in the park, so be careful when using
