WVP/Chimney Rock TM SATURDAY 9/25 8am

So the storm clean up continues this Saturday. Plan is to finish the east side of the orange section and move onto lower yellow if we have time. We will meet at 8am at the Gilbride lot. The lot is currently closed off but we have permission to park there. Any time you can give is helpful, so don't feel like you have to stay the entire session.

Post up if you can make it so I can plan tool/refreshments needs (Yes, they will be provided).

The first one is Orange, it’s the climbing coming from the Gilbride lot. The rest are all lower yellow along the ridge next to the stream. The bridge was put back in place but forgot to get a picture of it. The new berm is just before that.

What an incredible turn out today. Everyone ready to bust their ass and that they did. The entire orange section is now complete and it looks like yellow is as well. I’m really stoked on how everything turned out, though 1 trail user we ran in to would disagree. I can’t thank everyone enough for spending a Saturday morning helping repair the storm damage. The park is oh so close to being back to 100% and I am shocked on how quickly it was done.
