Are you sticking with the stock tires? They must suck lots. Why not go to 2.4s, then 30mm internal would be fine. I'm using 35mm Ibis rims on a 3.0 27.5 Maxxis and they have nice contact. Also on 29+ on 39mm Dually with 2.8 Panaracer and 49mm Hugo with 3.0 Dirt Wizards are massive.

This is my crappy weather bike. Want to go as wide as I can which is 2.6/8
Also... plus feels pretty good on a hardtail at HM.

The Marley is running 2.8f/2.6r on 27.5 and it takes off enough of an edge out and makes it fun. If I want to go skinny, I can grab the RDO.

For now.. sticking with the stock tires, crank and saddle. The tires... are not that bad as far as traction is concerned. Kinda like the rekons believe it or not. Prolly weighs like 2 tons but not terrible?

what does it look like? i got a couple remotes in my bin.
 
ah - i think it went into the junk when i went transfer......

which is now sitting in a bin waiting for a new bike!
