Where to ride this morning?

I had to take the day off to go see the dr, so after my appointment I’ve got the Fatbike loaded. What’s good? I’m close to Stephens, but could really go anywhere. Thoughts? Do I need to hit the road?

Only for sure thing I hear is rideable is Allaire. Tourne is usually not bad in snow, but I hear it's not fun right now.

That’s kind of what I’m assuming and I’m not driving down to Allaire. I just took a peek in Stevens and there’s still a decent amount of snow and just some foot prints. That’s a no go. I’m hoping there’s some magic good spot but I am losing hope.

It has been so cold, the snow is not packing. Good snowboarding snow!

6 mile was good. Was happy with how much I could stay on the bike. No bad ice on the canal side.

Go to the Tourne and let me know how it is. It was mostly rideable on Sunday, even though the snow wasn't very good due to it not packing down. It might be a little better now.

Most of Ringwood fire roads are packed (minus the top of Pierson Ridge, where I had to do some pushing). Other than that there's been lots of snowmobile action so plenty to ride.

Glad I hit the road. Shoulders were good enough here, the temps warmed up, and the traffic was good midday. Now I hope the next couple of days melts everything so we have frozen dirt and the the snow gets a do-over.
