Ok, well as I'm sure you all know I really want a road bike. In order to finance this I was thinking of selling my Mtn bike. But since it was a cheaper bike to begin with I prob. won't get too much. Plus I would like to try the dirt at least once. Sooo, should I keep my mtn bike if I get a road bike? Do I really need 2 bicycles?

I'd say definitely keep both till you know for sure what you wanna stick with!

Ant, I would say definitely don't sell the mountain bike!!!

With the road bikes you really restrict yourself. You're stuck to the road; no side walks, no dirt, no bumps. And there's a chance you'll dislike the road bike (especially the unfriendly seat and body position).

So I would at least wait until you're sure that you only want to ride on the road.
