I'm a devotee of White Lightning chain lube. The wet lubes collect too much crap for my taste. As far as grease for assembly I've got a tub of Englund slick honey grease. The Park grease is pretty good too.

instead of replacing my suspension bearings I'm thinking of just repacking the the bad ones to save some coin...

what grease should I use to repack? I have the Park Poly and the Pedro Syn that I think are too thick for the job

I think Park Poly would be fine, but I would drop some coin on new bearings.

$70 for bearing kit vs $10 lube... plus I would have to get a bearing puller and presser to do it properly. I don't want to fvck my frame up. I pryed off the a bearing seal cap easily with a needle last night.

I would go with Phil Wood. I have used this grease since the mid-90's without issue. However I can't say I performed soundz level analysis on it or anything.
