I converted my sons bike to 1x11. Sun race 11-46 cassette. SLX rear derailleur. Deore shifter. Suntour XCR triple crank (152mm) with just a 30t middle installed.

Love Drunk
Jerk Squad
Mounted it up last Sunday -
A TM ride at 6MR and SMP, a nice cruise through 6MR on Wednesday, and then Friday at the Sourlands. Crunch. Mid-ride i hear that weird sound a hub can make
when it is kinda working but something just ain't right. Engagement was fine, coasting: not so much.

The driver bearing let go, one of the pawl seats (is that what they are called?) is boogered.
Great - another slow boat from China!

Funny how @shrpshtr325 is always on the rides where my bike breaks.
Is this the same hub you had issues with no that long ago?

invest in a decent hub and you won’t have fix every 20 hours of riding

hub is kinda integrated with the tri-spoke.

Broke down and went AXS on the post after giving up on the reverb hydro

still playing with tire size. 27.5x2.6” rear and 29x2.35” front.

tried the tinker Juarez odi dread grips and they are awesome. Sort of like a esi that isn’t slippery when wet. Tried them on my quad first and loved them there

loving the new 429. Better climber and descender than the old one.
I’m stoked.

Just installed the RWC needle bearings after hearing all the raves about them on here. Haven't had a chance to ride yet but interested to see if any difference in small bump compliance.

Changed the front wheel bearings on the fat bike, old ones were starting to get a little grindy. Had to improvise pulling them as there was no lip inside to catch the puller on. Popped the shield, little heat, levered one enough to catch, then they came out no problem. Pressed the new ones in and all's good in the neighborhood. Now if only I had more time to ride...
