What have you done to your bike today?

Had a pedal lock up this weekend out on the trail. Riding back was interesting as the pedal wanted to do its best impression of Homer driving with the boot still attached to his wheel.

anyways, once i beat it apart, i could see the small end brass bushing was completely seized up, both on the axle shaft and within the pedal body with scoring both inside and out and plenty of brass shavings abound. There was still plenty of grease packed in body, not sure why it malfunctioned. I emailed the manufacturer and they suspect an out of tolerance bushing running too tight and are warrantying the set so hurray for that.

Ordered a shit-ton of bolts from Better Bolts for the Enduro and Epic, silver for the former, rainbow for the latter. They just came out with a package for the rear triangle for the Enduro, previously had the partial bolt setup.

Also got the upgraded air spring for the Lyrik fork, will be installing that next week more than likely.

New cockpit. Oneup Carbon bars 780mm, Raceface turbine 32mm stem and wolftooth stem.

and installed the Wolftooth Encase system

and replaced Cushcore with Tubolight's. Saved about .75 lbs. Much, much easier install too. Takes maybe another minute of finagling around the rim than a normal tire install.

Stripped SL7 to clean and rebuild for new owner. Sold this bike for what MSRP was when I bought it. They've since raised it to $8,200 so kid got a good deal? Anywhoo. Gave a bunch of build options with the sale so now I'm going to build it to his spec with all new wear items.
