Had a pedal lock up this weekend out on the trail. Riding back was interesting as the pedal wanted to do its best impression of Homer driving with the boot still attached to his wheel.
anyways, once i beat it apart, i could see the small end brass bushing was completely seized up, both on the axle shaft and within the pedal body with scoring both inside and out and plenty of brass shavings abound. There was still plenty of grease packed in body, not sure why it malfunctioned. I emailed the manufacturer and they suspect an out of tolerance bushing running too tight and are warrantying the set so hurray for that.
