i can tell you this, it wasn't much work that got done. i don't know if NYC is a ghost town or what but i didn't get a call or email all damn day today. VERY odd.

so, what did i do? i formulated a plan for my mary wheel build and researched rims. so far the wtb dd FR and stan's flow 29er are in the lead.

i also trolled mtbr NJ forum for the first time in a long time.

I baked a cake and threw it out the window. That's why nobody in NYC is working. They were flocking to the cake. Lucky you.

figures. media professionals are suckers for free food.

edit: oh, i also researched 29er studded tires. nokian extremes 294s. $100/tire. seems pricey but then again i am putting my life on the line and i have far too little time to sit in my cold garage and do it myself.

Dude, the Saturn handles great at 110 doesnt it?

Ha! Ya that was a bit sketch. All wheel drive is sweet tho.

I was driving an impala which handled really well. But i got a chance to drive the crown vic for the first time and was surprised how well it handled for being a boat and rear wheel drive. Or may be it was the man behind the wheel. :p

I saw it early this morning before I went to work. Then I went to work, wishing I was home talking to Norm on IM finding out what the deal was.

I finished a project from the night b4:

Project: Drywall area where dog lives. and paint wall. OK done.
Install shelving for custom doggie dinning table, it's lookin good.
Screw bracket in new drywall for table. OK done.
Oh fvck, water everywhere, must have hit water pipe.

Turn off water main, run upstairs to get phone.........
Oh, fvck, dog gets excited because of my hysteria.........
Dog tries to beat me upstairs, pins himself between me and wall...
Dog plastered to wall that was just painted, dumbass.........

Call friend(plumber)....... friend tears out newly painted drywall.
Two days work down the drain,
GF comes home "What the hell happened to dog?"
I say "Dog is new color and has no place to eat 2night."

I cant wait to ride, home improvment master - I AM NOT!!!!

I pretended to work by drawing up sketches of a jib box I'm going to make, and then I got piss drunk at my company holiday party.

I'm glad the sites back and that not too much has been lost! Many thanks to all the admins for fixing it so fast!

I was at 3 airpots and was de-iced twice but finally made it to Monterrey in one piece and our 6 pieces of luggage made it with us...yeah 6!! I hate traveling and I hate that we have to bring so many presents...I am the Grinich, I hate the holidays.

On another note, today the debacle started...I went to lunch from 2 to 6....yeah this is how we roll down here, I ate almost a whole calf and drank lots of beer and tequila....and now I am off to more eating and drinking at a xmas party.

11 days to go ;)

Down,..when?

Gee, now I know I work toooooo much. Mtbnj was down? G-d I miss this place. They laided off my entire crew today,..except me. Yaaa me (said like charle brown after missing the football) Riding when I can, but 6 days a week at 9- 10 hours of work leaves you with enough energy to shower, make your lunch for the next day, and then go to bed. Ride on!
