Hop Concept citra/simcoe

Nose is very malty/yeasty - probably some wild yeast in there the way it foamed up.
the taste didn't produce the malt front, way more piney, as expected from the simcoe.
if the citra is in there, it is very subtle..

It is very California.

Albino Slug is amazing. And both of those triple OH very very tasty. Not sure how they get away with the 10% and not being overpowering.

Thought I missed this, but they posted on Instagram there was a few bottles left. 9.2% and smooth with just a hint of bourbon. Bought 3, 1 to sample this evening and 2 to age in the beer crawl space with the '18 Mad Elf.

So I heard there was a new brewer in town:
Hackensack Brewing opened up yesterday, on the same block as Alementary.
Sounds like they had a huge opening day, so I swing by to grab a crowler.

No dice, sold out yesterday.
Oh well, grabbed a taster of their 6.5% NEIPA.

Light, but tasty. Will try them again.
