Nugget Nectar, an atypical weekday brew. What asshole vowed to dig this course down to dirt?

^We'll have to talk about your beer consumption over a beer.

I like this glass. I think Mary swiped it at a bar, she likes it too. Its my birthday so I stopped off at Joe Canaals and got a growler of Weyerbacher-Heresy. Just what I was in the mood for.

Sounds like a nice selection for birthday. Happy belated Birthday!

I had the Neshaminy Creek Imperial Stout last night. I liked it until the second glass when all this brown sludge plopped out from the bottom of the bottle. Liked the taste but the texture was hideous. Supposed to decant these things or was it a bad bottle?

On Sunday I went to the local watering hole and had Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin. It was so good that I had to have another one.

Then I had to go ride my bike at 10pm because BIYF. The bartender told me the beers were on the house, awesome. After my ride, I went back to the watering hole just because.

Tried the Brooklyn Hand & Seal. "A Barley Wine Style Ale Aged in Bourbon Barrels". The barrel aged stuff seems to be popular these days. This beer/wine really messed me up.

But I drank another beer Weyerbacher Insanity. As the name suggests, it has a insane kind of taste like someone mixed everything from the chemistry lab into a bottle. I didn't really enjoy it.

By the time I was done, the bar looked like this:

I made good friends with the bartenders and we talked about meaning of life and stuff. They packed me some pint glasses to take home.

Today as I'm typing this I popped another one of these open (DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus). I don't like it as much as the 1st time I had it. It's too much chocolate and starting to reject the chocolate/beer combo. I'd rather have the 2 separately. Espresso/beer combo is preferable.

If you cats are on a Stout kick then I would suggest tracking down a bottle of Courage. Rick you can get it at Canal's in Laweranceville. Buy two and age one.

UNfortunately I don't think I'll make it to the Stone Tap Takeover as I'll be spending the day at St. Patty's Day parade in Morristown and then dinner and beers with family.

Luckily, I found Stone Delicious in 6 packs!

Boo. Maybe for the Carton takeover or when Joe taps Founders KBS in June or Dogfish 120 in September :D

If anyone is passing through the GWB area and wants to stop by for a drink let me know. I will gladly come out.

Here are some beers I drank recently (not all today):
