Thanks, the hardest part for me is waiting to try what I've made. Way I see it, the sooner I can make the jump from extract the more beer I can put in the cellar so I won't be so tempted to try it before it's ready. I'm already keeping my eye out for a free full size refrigerator for lagering. I'm right between a shop in Whitehouse and North Brunswick, haven't been to either yet though so I don't know which one I'll be using.Nice work!
And impressive to jump to full grain on your second go.
If anyone can pull it off though, my money’s on you!
Do you have a local brew shop?
They are few and far between these days, but they are gold when you’re putting in the work.
Especially when your first yeast pitch doesn’t take.
Brew day went great, hit OG a little on the low side but within the target range(1.045-1.056 and I got 1.048) and the fermentor airlock started bubbling within a few hours of pitching. Hydrometer sample tasted wonderful, I can't wait to see how this one comes out! Now to decide what recipe to try next...Nice work!

The Other Half's All Together recipe is available online. Not sure if that is not a style you want to make or if it's too complex for small-scale home brewing.Brew day went great, hit OG a little on the low side but within the target range(1.045-1.056 and I got 1.048) and the fermentor airlock started bubbling within a few hours of pitching. Looked at that, doesn't seem too complicated. I might give it a go depending on if I can find everything. The Other Half's All Together recipe is available online. Not sure if that is not a style you want to make or if it's too complex for small-scale home brewing.
Wondering if this colder time of year is more conducive or easier to make some styles such as lagers.
Where at if you don’t mind?Battery Steele FLUME obtained locally. I picked this up after I saw @teabagger11’s post that it’s available outside Portland, ME.
The can indicates it is “brewed by” not “brewed for” Battery Steele in Clifton Park, NY so I’m wondering if it is actually a Battery Steele facility.
