Well-marked beginner trails near Tenafly?

Hi, looking to hit some trails with my 8 yo kid today... Fun beginner stuff that is not too difficult and where we would not get lost.... We live in Tenafly and would appreciate some suggestions for fun, well marked trails (relatively) close by.

maybe the paved trails at Loantaka - not sure if they cleared them.

Thanks, not looking for paved trails... Looking for some nice basic, well marked single-track. Mud is just fine as long as there's fun to be had.

Download the app "GPS on ski map," aka Maprika on your phone. Best trail map tool ever. Shows your location on the maps. This has saved me multiple times when on new-to-me trails.
 
we take the kids around ramapo lake
park on top of skyline and make yourself around the lake 2.5 mile easy loop
may require some walking back uphill but the kids don't mind much
