In a nutshell:
6000 series: fix and re-heat treat.
7000 series: you're pretty much SOL.

He's in VT, so you'll have to mail the frame to him... and I doubt he's the least expensive option... but there's no one I'd trust more to fix an aluminum mtn bike frame.
