This is a post taken from MTBR.COM entitled
"Jungle Habitat suspicious weirdo"

The section of the orange flagged trail that runs near the entrance by where the company with the excavators are. Some of the guys doing the excavating told me they say a guy at dusk or a little after on the trail with several kids and a shovel and pick. When they went to ask him what he was doing the guy ran. These two hardhat types though it was very strange and asked me to pass the word.

The OP is not a member here and asked if someone could post it here. There was a suggestion that perhaps the JORBA crew should know about this.
