Weekend Report 12-1/2

Lewis Morris today was boffo, traction was great. The trails seem to have been blown clean, which is crazy. It made for a good ride today but doesn't that hinder the "replenishing" of the trail?

Ringwood good to go

Random puddles/wet spots here and there, but that's mostly on the fireroads. Bring a rake.

We did a couple of hours at Allaire yesterday. The trails were in great shape. It was leafy, but dry. Even the new singletrack was was dry, and getting packed down. Outstanding.

Waywayanda

Snow covered trails but completely rideable with absolutely stunning scenary. Only tracks seen were bear, bunny and deer. Light fluffy powder today but but with the sleet coming should change tomorrow to a crunchy slippery mess. Brrr....19 degrees.

Skyline Drive

White stuff all over the place!!

I had no idea we were supposed to get snow. Skyline drive (the street) was closed early in the morning, so I had to go park @ the soccer field.

Took the new SS out. Snow was nice with good traction, I had to walk a few sections but overall conditions were very good!

So yes...she has been "chirstened"
