This will be my first Wilderness 101. I've done Shenandoah 100 a couple of times and the Cohutta 100 this year. Anyone know how the W101 compares to these other hundies? Who else is in?

Sweet god. I thought the 18 miles at Lewis Morris was endurance racing. It goes more than that?

I've done the Cohutta and the 101. The 101 is definitely a more challenging course. The 101 has steeper climbs and lots of them. Cohutta has more long gravely climbs that go on forever. Plus the 101 singletrack is more challenging at the 101. They are both great races and I think the 101 is just more fun. I haven't done the shenandoah yet, I'll be there this year though.

Oh and just for comparison...the Mohican kicks the crap out of both of them. That was a fun race...
