Very nice out there

Went out for a bit tonight after work. I thought the trails were great, nice coating of snow and frozen solid underneath. Saw Fred and Ben (I think, I'm horrible with names) out there when I was turning around to head back. Wish I had more time and could have followed a bit. Perfect night to be out in the woods, very quiet.

As my Grandpa used to say "It seemed like a good idea at the time". After I came across my own tracks at one point, I realized I didn't know the trails quite as well as I thought. Still, I had a GPS and a cell so it's not like I was all that worried. The best part was missing all of the snow induced traffic jams on the way home. Just couldn't pass up a night like that in the woods.
