anyone used em? i, recently had both velox cloth tape strips shift on me and cause flats. this was due to some rather muddy 24 hour races and longer rides i'm assuming. it had never happened before, but i like the idea of these little bits. i may order some this week if the shop can get em.

Very good idea! But..

Shop guys won't want to mess with them. Lots of energy and time to install.. Maybe not.

They might seal water in the rim.. Or not.

i can install em. i used to work there(at the shop). and i have 90 degree hitch-hiker thumbs, so they never really get sore from that kind of stuff...
