I have another Trek Pro Caliber, (L) or 19.5", same year, same color, with a better parts build. That one is a a 19.5". The 19.5" size might be a better fit for a 5'10" rider. Same price, slightly more use, but still VERY good shape and as stated, a better parts spec. I should have pictures posted soon on MTBNJ. The 17.5" Trek in the above pictures is listed as a medium (M). Go to the Trek website for the best sizing recommendations for fit.

At 5'10" you are pretty much right between the Trek sizes, and could probably ride either. I'm 5'11" and have ridden both 17.5 and 19.5. It just depends on which one feels more comfortable to him.
