Not sure what you mean. Like fold down out of the way to open a rear hatch or fold up small when you remove it from the vehicle?

I think he meant the tray(s) fold up when not carrying bikes but stays on the vehicle so it doesn't protrude out from the rear of the vehicle as much.

I have two Saris somewhere. The Superclamp model does not fold up and the Thelma model folds up. Superclamp $200, Thelma $100. Google them to see pics
