Riders and hikers, the Morris Trails Partnership Trail Crew is holding a bonus trail building session at Schooley's Mountain park in Long Valley this Saturday, 6/7. Meet at the Upper (northern) parking lot off the entrance at East Springtown Road at 9:00 AM.
Some of you may recall that Schooley's Mtn was re-opened to multi-use a few years ago, and one of the Partnership's projects with Morris County Park Commission is to build a sustainable connector from the rugged trails on top of the mountain down to the Columbia rail trail. The proposed trail was scoped and flagged a few years ago at National Trails Day. Now it's time to get working on it. Hope you can make it!
