Tire selection for local XC racing

Thanks guys. Any other recommendations? I will check put a few options. Just trying to narrow down the search.

Also, if you're still on those tires I saw at the group ride (and I think you are), you will see a huge improvement. Those things you're running now look like they are way past their time.

Have no choice because I punctured and Stans not plugging it.

I def second @jShort 's recommendation to run a Nobby Nic upfront- cornering and traction is great with this tire. It doesn't feel much slower on most local race courses either.

If you want to have all the grip in the world run Ardent 2.4s. If you want to go as fast as possible run Aspens.
