Thursday morning ride Nassau

knobbyhead

Next off the Island.
So I'm off and I want to ride me some flow trails and a spin of Nassau.

So I'm meeting @Patrick and maybe @jklett at the Columbia trail head in Highbridge. (I think that what Patrick said) wheels down 09:30.

Not a race pace but we like to keep moving.

Would anyone like to join us? This is your opportunity to hit these trails.

put a few hours into The Nassau System -
Started in the CT lot to do the flow trails - i was late, so missed that part.
@knobbyhead, @jklett, Thee @jerseyJules, and I rolled down CT,
through the ironworks directly into springside. New trail to the ballfield is awesome.
Great stone and bridge work - really nice job.

I think i got them on most of the springside trails? :D
Then across the field, and a quick loop of the original section. and down to the lake/dam for a quick
look to check the crowd.

Not bad - always nice when @knobbyhead has time to come "north" (yes, Nassau is below rt 80, go with it)

i gotta start getting farther away from the camera

While we were in there, we saw @Fire Lord Jim and @Doug varela (i think that is the right Doug)

This also happened. In some miracle of miracles, it did not break a spoke, bend the rotor, or rip the derailleur off.
All that good, clean livin' is paying off.
