This is why you don't buy Department store bikes

My wife mentioned this thing still sitting the park. You could have atleast taken it to one of the dumspters instead of littering.

My standard was that I wasn't about to drag a 40 lb. hunk of metal out of the park unless I'm getting paid. I'd rather see an old bike laying on the trail than candy bar rappers and beer cans. Or even worse, horse crap!!! :popcorn:
 
Yet some of our congressmen want to ban quick releases because they're dangerous.
 
I bought my first bike at Target and it is still kicking under my gf's riding. The warning label on the top tube reads that it is not meant for off-roading. I never did any jumps on the Schwinn I bought, but I took it out to Round valley, beat the crap out of it and then went and bought my spez. Jim at Jay's in Westfield thought I was a lunatic for taking the schwinn to RV. :rolleyes:
