I read a while back that the place was neglected and falling into disrepair, I take it they've fixed up?

there is ongoing maintenance, but overall it looks great.
It is all poured concrete over steel girder, and rebar mesh, and built "into" the mountain - so water infiltration has caused some issues.
The Western PA Conservancy has offices there now (over the converted car port/guest house) so it gets more attention.
one of the hallways, with a natural stream in it had some issues - and some of the ties that form a lattice are being reworked.
spots where the ceiling leaks are noticeable.

one of the weird things was letting junk trees grow in the sight-lines. i asked about it, and apparently they have a horticulturist that believes
natural evolution of the site is best. i called bs, tour guide not happy. who lets a tree grow in a place that will undermine a wall?

Was a nice night at Mt Creek 20th anniversary party. There were giveaways and beer and a fun time.
Saw a few people I knew and many downhillers I never met. I never did downhill there myself. Seeing
everyone in their gear was something. Serious helmets and lots of padding. It was hot weather and sweaty riders.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/7z4klpt4zwqax20/2016-04-21 16.07.23.jpg?dl=0

it will open in a new window in dropbox.
hopefully it works !
it may also be a premium feature - i use dropbox for one of the business things i do.
