there is ongoing maintenance, but overall it looks great.
It is all poured concrete over steel girder, and rebar mesh, and built "into" the mountain - so water infiltration has caused some issues.
The Western PA Conservancy has offices there now (over the converted car port/guest house) so it gets more attention.

one of the weird things was letting junk trees grow in the sight-lines. i asked about it, and apparently they have a horticulturist that believes
natural evolution of the site is best. i called bs, tour guide not happy. who lets a tree grow in a place that will undermine a wall?
