Sadly not exciting, no crashes. 50 mile race with two 25 mile laps. Started race with low air in the tire. Went really low, added CO2. Best I can tell is when I put in the CO2 I bent the derailleur hanger slightly as I had ghost shifting after the stop. Had to keep stopping and adding CO2 trying to finish the first lap.
Was going up a hill with almost no air and the rear tire locked up, derailleur was in the spokes. Ran the last 1.5 miles of the first lap to my car. Figured I could throw a tube in, adjust the derailleur and move on. Then saw how bad the whole situation and called it. Derailleur is absolutely mangled.
Last night saw the rim is destroyed.
