Things that make you frown :(

no that spoke is basically pristine, and there are 2 or 3 others that are pulling also. had the same thing happen to this wheel 2 years ago so idk, thought it was a fluke then, but not sure now.

Do i
a) have i9 rebuild it again
b) buy another hoop from someone else and reuse the hub
c) buy a whole new wheelset and sell these as is to someone who probably wants just the hubs.

the thing is iv been really happy with these wheels otherwise.
I'd send the wheel back to I9 and have them fix it. Every time I've dealt with them they've been awesome. If it's a manufacturing issue with the rim hopefully it's limited to a bad batch or something and they'll replace it with a rim from a later PO.

I did that 2 years ago. Certainly cheaper than a new wheelset but... it's kind of a drag to do repeatedly

Do you weigh 300 lbs now? Never heard anyone breaking so many spokes.

currently none of the spokes are broken, your boomer eyes must be going out on ya.

cleaning up your husband's projectile vomit in the middle of the night.
Did your post from the "-smile" thread have anything to do with this?

No... Isolated husband incident.. thankfully.

I don't know what I would do with TWO projectile vomiting 40+ year olds in my house

I think he may have been suggesting Jimmy’s presence alone caused the vomiting.

when someone deliberately destroys a new trail build, especially when the nica team worked on it alsoIMG_4842.jpeg

Its hard to tell from the pictures but anything that looks displaced was either supporting a bench cut or a filled in area. Allll of that loose rock was filled in. Unfortunately it is likely the work of someone in the mtb community. They attempted to reclaim the start and end of the trail with logs, branches and leaves.

WTF - like they filled everything back in and dumped rocks and leaves back onto the newly cut trail?! grrr

Missed the OOS ride at WayWay on Saturday because my wife was not feeling well early in the morning. First frown

…but then, since she felt better, I joined a later ride of Sterling…the guy leading the ride broke a rib shortly after leaving the parking lot, and yet I could not keep up with him for the rest of the ride. I’ve got so much work to do. Second frown
