I've been going in early, working thru lunch, and staying late at work a lot lately. Today I only did the first two, and I did not feel bad at all rollin' out to the trails in the light of day.

Back to my usual programming. About once/twice a year I ride the towpath to remind myself how mind-numbing it is. Especially at night. Didn't feel like dealing with traffic this night, or trails alone in the dark. D&R it was. Intentions were to turn around at SBB, next thing I know I'm passing the Manville Crossway. Considered popping in on jklett before turning back, but it was late. My mind was numbed, as well as my body. No pix.

Racing the snow
I had the pleasure of chasing @CrankAddictRich around a deliciously frozen Six mile for a while ahead of the imminent snow. My Garmin flaked out but luckily I was able to record the ride with my phone.

Ha ha no. Haven't had a drink in 20+ years. I was freezing and shakin' like a leaf in a 40 mph wind. I'll try the sunset later today but might get snowed out.

Couldn’t make it up to the Group Ride at Stephens, so I ground some dirty gravel on my plus bike. Crossed paths with @Harry Hamilton but he was sans bikecycle, and doing this new thing called jogging. I believe the “j” is silent.

Family activities limited my time to commit to riding more than 1.5 hours this morning, but still wanted to ride some dirt. Stuck to the local cross country trails and easements when possible. Hope to get back out later to ride some snow as long as I can complete the dreaded honey do list...

Really short ride today after a major fail. Initially went out in my normal pair of gore gloves which I swear I’ve worn well into the teens before.... like fifteen minutes in my hands were so cold they started to lock up. I turned around to head back and by the time I got home I was in full panic mode. Thawing my hands in front of a space heater was a kind of pain I’ve never felt before. Anyways, went back out for a little while with heavier gloves and was totally fine, lol. My finger tips still hurt, though.
