What's the current budget up to?

there is one that goes by the house whenever it is nice out.
between this and the lambo, we know they are coming!
She no like. may as well get the Audi TT :(

Well we aren't driving a red ferrari right now, so the budget just got slashed.

What about a 2005 SLK55 AMG? Those are decently quick, no Kompressor, full M113 all motor, you can add a stage 1 upgrade from Weistec for about 700hp with their super charger

So you are saying this would have been perfect:

solid option - prices are low. The Queen does not like the individual roll-over protection.
I think the Mr. Peanut headlights of the SL are a big selling point ;)

the guy i was bidding against on this one had just bid another up to $40k and lost,
so I backed off early. It had a great service history too.

Less money than the SL, slower too, but agile in the corners
For around $20K that is a real nice second car. What is the approximate cost of ownership per year if you put on about 10K miles?
I'm not getting into a bidding war with @Patrick , I am curious for potential future fun car. I still look at Boxsters as the primary target.
