I had '77 auto in yellow with that interior but my first was a '69 in the baby blue with the half cab divider and 3 on the tree like that one you posted though they mod it to the floor.This one is mid 70's but looks clean.

If you go with an MGB stay away from the rubber bumpers. Conversion to chrome bumpers is a pain and they are smog machines.
I had an old Volvo P1800 I played with in high school. Fun cars. There are convertibles floating around out there of those.
