Ordered updated coolant cap - current one degrades and leaks.
Ordered Chipfix kit.

Remove the top completely. You are keeping it in a garage and only using it in nice weather. If you get caught in the rain, speed up and let the aerodynamics keep you dry. This is one of the reasons you bought a Porsche sports car.
Many times my MG's only had a tonneau cover, no top underneath.
BTW, even in winter too. Crank up the heat and enjoy the open air. You are a ragtop guy aren't you??

Feel the wind in your hair...oh wait.

Well i found the chips that ya couldn't see in the pictures, and when wet.
deck lid looks like it is a spot that gets sand blasted - lots of little chips.
a few deeper ones. nothing you can see at 20' tho.

And we have our first idiot light.
Spoiler Warning.

No really, spoiler warning. it extends/retracts just fine using the toggle.
the carpet is damp :( on the driver seat floor.
apparently there is a controller under there.
I put the car in rice.

Good news. I turned the radio on and it needed a code.
The code card was in the radio book :)

Patch the back window with some tear- aid type b, if pvc. Not cheap, but way cheaper than a new top or a new window. Available almost Everywhere!!! I get mine from Sailrite but Bezos sells it too. They also make cheaper knockoffs, but the tear- aid has the special adhesive.

Guess that’s different than a spoiler alert

Like a storm watch vs a storm warning ?

At least you can take the top down and let it dry out in the sun. 😖

May not be necessary, but a Durametric cable is a great tool to have

that's on my list.
Hooked up my OBDII scanner and it laughed at me.
It could read the stuff for inspection, with no codes set, but couldn't get to the good stuff.
hopefully it works when we update to a speedster. ;)
(hint: manual top, ain't gunna happen)

The second key and the valet key were in the trunk.
That was a bonus. I was expecting one key - cause may as well keep expectations low.

I went to check the second key to make sure it works, lock/unlock gtg.
starts car, check!
remove key, and i'm sitting there with the fob in my hand, and the blade in the ignition.

someone must have lost a part when they changed the battery. The replacement 2 button shell on amazon was $30.
a 3 button shell, same shape/design was $9. Coming on friday.
