The Post I don't want to make (The Countdown)

Well, here goes the post I never wanted to make. :cry::cry: I found out on Wednesday evening that I will be relocating from New Jersey much sooner that I thought. I found out that I will officially be reassigned effective 11-31-09 to North Carolina for another project. I would have posted this that night, but there was someone I wanted to tell first. This is very hard for me and my family we absolutely love this state and the people we've met believe it or not.

Why is this in the rides section you may ask? Well I've got 2 months to pack in what riding time I have left in NJ. So here is the deal each and everytime I plan to go ride I will post it here. If you can join me I invite you to do so. I will not be concerned about pace I just want to ride with everyone I can atleast 1 last time before I have to move. I will keep this thread updated with my rides.

Take care and unfortunately let the countdown begin.

Drag man, we only talked like twice and once I was in another world. If I am functioning before you leave you can count me in on a ride for sure. After all you are one of the only people who get my jokes.
At least I think they have internet where you are going.:hmmm:
 
Its north cakalaki, you'll learn that. You should be grateful the season is longer and you get to experience a whole new network of trails and people. I wish you luck and will be lookin to hit a trail wit ya before ya go.
 
What needs to be done? How can we change this? Who do we have to kill?😀

You'll still be assuming your JORBA duties after the move, right? 😀

I am happy about that but its definitely hard to leave the place that cultivated my passion for the sport and the advocacy involved.

Hehe I tried that, but didn't work. I even looked into getting work up here but that was a no go 🙁

I assured Frank last night when we talked that I would do everything I could to continue to assist JORBA from afar until I could no longer. I will definitely carry the JORBA banner south :getsome:
 
I'm glad I got to know you and ride with you before you had to announce this. Your energy has impacted the forum and JORBA. Thanks for the effort.
 
That is a sad thing to hear, but also great news. I know you will bring your JORBA love down there and get work done. If I ever make it down that way we will go on a ride, and before that I'll take you for a Kittatiny ride.

That is so true Ben. Brandon, I wish you the best of luck and I will miss you. Thank you for bringing so much positive energy to TM sessions and the group rides. Now I need to figure out how to apply for grant money to keep you in the state.:hmmm:

I will be back at some point for visits that I promise! We will keep a spare room open for any migratory NJers that want to come down and ride free room and board! 😀 Except for RonCs it'll cost him $80,000 so I can give J the money for the 6 mile bridge for Ben to keep his feet dry. 😀

I appreciate your words Ben you guys have done alot for me which is why I hate so much to leave. I promise to try and continue my efforts from the south.

It will be about 1 1/2 hr or so from where I'll be which is plenty close. There are tons of trails from what I've been told down there that are just amazing. It was cool to meet you to tell your wife to continue her fight!
 
Awww man! Does this mean you won't be at the Allaire Tuesday Night rides next year? This is not good news... You are suppose to post GOOD NEWS.
Either way, I am very glad to have met you and your wonderful family. I guess Frank will have to take over and have me actually put a lot of energy into the TM's...

We definitely will have to ride together once before you go, hopefully more...

Just remember, I met you first! 😀 But I never got to ride with you. I am not saying any farewells just yet. I will definitely keep my eyes peeled to join you hopefully more than once!
