I have found a few, but kinda uncommon in NJ. I find more upstate.Been on the look out for lions mane, @soundz you come across any?

Saw this at my friends place. Looks like it may be rooted to the ground and want to make sure it wont be an issue for the pupper

Thanks for the tentative ID. The lighting wasn't very good right there and the fungi looked somewhat desiccated and shriveled. Only took the one shot.Need more detailed shots, but I would compare with Trametes versicolor aka turkey tail.
Rode past this fallic lawn sculpture last week. Almost took same photo.
