it's like riding inside the sauna room
very sticky sweat and i'm soaking wet from my sweaty body..very very hot dry and hot season is here now for 6months,..indonesia only have two seasons Hot and Wet seasons (wet season,includes monsoon)
i really miss having american Junk foods,,Mcdonalds,KFC,Popeye,BK..
here,,i cannot find them easily,they exist only in big city..in rural or small town they don't exist
back in the days (in States) everywhere i rides,,you can find junk foods in every corner of the country,even in remotely small town
so,in this picture
this is type of indonesian junk food (not really)
but,,you will find this in every damn corner of the country even in very remote rural or village,,you will not go hungry or thirsty ?
first time wearing this HB kit,my wife send it to me,,it was on sale
anyone has their kit hanging in the closet?feel free to send them to my wife??

part one,when i was descending down from Togwotee Pass (elevations 9k) in Idaho,it was climbing almost half day from Dubois on my way to Jackson Hole,the changing landscapes and scenery makes my suffering a little bit better,so as i was descending from the pass on my way down i came across another bike adventures dude,,i approached him and we chatted a bit
and we exchange contact (i lost his contact) and share our story..looking back
while i was watching my videos,,thought i might wanted to pointed out that,,in life we always makes plan,sometimes it went well sometimes it doesn't
and in my case..it doesn't go well
it worse than i ever imagine
when kevin (the dude i met in this video) ask
where am i going to return after finishing the tour,,off course my reply was,,New Jersey
New Jersey,is my home for 19yrs
the rest is just history..
so,it's true

Urban Assault Driving,,Notice there's No Stop Sign In every Intersections and Roundabout doesn't have Traffic Lights,..and No Speed Posted it's pretty much like this everywhere,,except in the Capital vity of jakarta
although No Stop sign Or Traffic light in every damn block like in Manhattan,,we got Tons of Speed Bump you will notice in this videos i slow down at every speed bumps
and not to mention Motorcycles riders they're all over the places when they're riding their motorcycles or scooters,,they're the king of the roads as we say here they rules they dictated how and when...
if any of you ever visited Southeast asia or any others develop country you know how it's looks like.

on Monday my wife's Mother passing she was at the age of 75 and has suffering from diabetes and stroke,,so,i'm here to attend her funeral
then followed by doing a week long ritual praying and citing Quran verse at her grave everyday for 7 days,,a lot of local custom to observe in this tight knit community in this small village,
in the meantime i spending my time exploring this village by hiking its surroundings villages
they live near the foothills of Mount Ciremai in Cirebon,west Java about 5 hrs driving from Jakarta
wife's very upset and saddened since she can't see her mother again,but she will have to be strong
i feel bad for her,she's been through alot hard time this year..

Oh Well...
After waited for over 3 months ti have this Sidi Sole Spiky thingy Replacement,then come the time to took off the badly damage old one,,and it's not easy task either,,notice some of the screws still attached,can't get it out,so i leave it there
then,,finally
put the new one
the top tip toe was fine
but,the middle part was wrong (model)
but i'm so sure i'm ordering the correct model(i ask my wife,to order and shipped it to indonesia after waiting for over 3 months,i use Shipping line)
so,,it's useless now
i'm going to keep using it for road riding,no mountain biking,,
this is going to hurt me when walking on slippery surface the soles are made from Carbon,,so walking on wet surface is like wearing an ice skating 😁

Hi,Pat
i was strong back then,,it a tough climb section
after crossing guardrail,for five years riding there only a handfull i cleared those loose rock climbs,only on a good day,thanks for the vids!
it is still difficult -
the top has been "eased" a bit, there are two lines now, and one is a nice, smooth turn.
The old, root rut is gone.
So you'd clear it easily now.
Dodging hikers is the new skill!
