So,plan for today is riding slow as far as I can before dark and repeat that everyday before my leg fall off..?

Biking Across Country
Approximately 2 weeks from today,
I’m going on Tour across the country from NJ to WA
I’ll taking an easy and “flat” route
I’ve been meaning to do this tour for over 10 years
Unfortunately but also a blessing with recently incident happened to me I’m able to do this before I’m back to working again next year.,,so,I got plenty of time to kill this is why I’m doing this tour.

This bikes had served me very well through out my Bikepacking trips almost 12k logged and more to come, its never disappointed me,no mechanical not even a creaking this beast made, its indestructible
That’s why I trust this bikes as my company through the good and bad, she’s my “wife” that I can never replace with anything else.

I carry basic gears and tools
Just so I can survive, nothing fancy
Here’s the breakdown:

Gears and Tools
1.Surly KTM 29er 2014 from @jdog
(Lots of parr’s has been replaced to my liking)

2.front fork replaced with Boost and Boost wheel set with Dynamo lights system
to accommodates weight and stability steering, also I replaced the flat MTB bars with Dropbars 48mm width and all gears is hold up by Surly Rack that also has fork mount as well.

3.Rear Rack still my trusted old Surly Rack no changes made in these part.

4.sleeping gears..I got sleeping bag 30degree down and Big Agnes flycreek single person tent,a cheap Walmart yoga Matt for comfy

4.Rain jacket and rain pant, and thermal jacket for biking and sleeping, winter base layer merino wool, beanie, gloves, thermal sock, thermal pants for added warm in case of sudden weather changes
No underwear instead biking camois under short 2 pair and two Bib as added cushion for my tuss

5.No sandal

6.kitchen sink, gas stove,Teflon wok, chopstick the stainless steel one, stainless steel mug,I bring my Parang for fight against bear maybe also carry a spray horn instead of pepper spray
I used pepper for cooking not to scare the bears
Coffee, sugar, oil for cooking and salt, and all purpose seasoning, homemade chilly that can outlast my age,...

7.parts (brakepads,tubes,CO2,patches kit, brake cable and shifter cable, and whatnot for bikes and myself (medicine, first Aid)

8.batery packs, and others miscellaneous electronics gadgets to keep in touch with the outside world, camera, stupid phones,eye..etc

9.money?

10.did I forget anything else?...

So come along and follow me on my IG
Some of you knows where to find me.

Wish me luck, hopefully I comeback home in one piece?

Not all the images posted..... but the ones that did are awesome!

I was wondering, how are you holding up at night temperature wise now that you’re getting up there? I’d imagine the nights are cold.
