I'd never blame a cyclist for getting hit by a car, but why not just go through the gap on the right side there? Video almost looks staged or the rider wasn't paying attention.

Commute over the GWB/NYC Greenways/bike paths and the gaps are way tighter than that with other cyclists, park patrol vehicles (yes, vehicles on bike paths), careless pedestrians, buses, etc. That looked totally avoidable.
