Super D race at Blue Mountain PA this weekend

This is the last weekend for Blue Mountain in Danielsville, PA and they are having a Super D race on Saturday to compliment their final DH race on Sunday.

Super D is a mix of cross country and downhill - basically the kind of riding most of us do all the time. Course should be between 8-10 minutes of mostly down but will include some flat pedally sections and some climbing thrown in as well.

Super D has really taken off on the west coast and it would be great to see more of it out here!

I went up and participated... it was awesome. My first time doing a Super D and even though I didn't get to practice on the actual course I had a good time. I'll be doing more of those next year for sure.
The race organizer said he'll be doing three next year for those wanting to participate next year.
