@ANWJrWill’s fork is leaking air.

24” Suntour XR LO 63mm air spring fork on Orbea MX24 Trail.

I tightened up the valve core, which I don’t think is the issue. After pumping it back up, I cleaned the area with some paper towels and some water, and there were some bubbles, see photo.

Is this something that normally loosens up? I’m sure there’s a special tool for this, I can’t fit a socket in the gap.

I only noticed because there was some oil on the stanchion, which I’ve never seen before on his bike.

This might help.

You can make a regular socket fit. You just need to grind down the chamfer.
