1. Found this today, used a url from a recent nice day at Allaire and found it hilarious. (pick a busy day and check all the ppl it finds, then run the flyby)

2. and have been enjoying the data in veloviewer.com too...

anyone have others?

the global heatmap is cool too....where do people ride their bikes you ask?

hmm, watchung reservation seems to get some action, that's peculiar :)

interesting that the zion climb gets more riding than the top - hill repeats?
and that SMP fades out on the steep stuff - wonder if it is being associated with the road, rather than the trail. or under the minimum speed !!

Hopewell-Amwell hump seems to be one of the least popular climbs in the sourlands. Dutchtown-Zion isn't a favorite either.

Yeah and SMP is weird - looks like bikers (and runners) start ~ marker 10 - how do they get there, teleportation??

This might be a good place to ask, how can I view all my attempts on strava and on place. I would like to see my progress

for segments, there is "my activity" in the dropdown
there are personal heat maps to see where you ride.
there is also a tab in training/my activities and you can sort it....

also load the data into veloviewer.com - fun stuff there.

Looks like a good trail maintenance tool to figure where trails are not getting used due to perhaps adverse conditions or routings. Looking at Chimney Rock as I make that comment.

Of course the Oracle might ask, do people ride the trails/roads more where there are segments created, or do they create segments on the trails they ride. If there isn't a segment and someone rides it, did it really happen? :D:D
