So as an Ozzy fan, I'm curious what you think about his new album that they've been hyping the shit out of on Sirius/XM. Am I the only crazy person that thinks its a disappointment and sucks? There is nothing going on there musically or lyrically. As a guitarist, I'm also majorly let down.

Agree, I think I've heard 3 songs so far and didn't like any of them. Guitar solos blow, even Ozzy's voice sounds odd - Parkinson's could be the issue there.

At this point, he’s made a big enough impact on music, has enough of a legacy, that he should retire. He probably has enough money so that Jack, Kelley, and their descendants can live comfortably for a very long time. There’s something to be said for knowing when to call it quits, instead of dragging things out into mediocrity. Metallica are another band that should call it quits. Go on tour like the Stones or U2 every now and then to play the old stuff that people want to hear, make some money when you need a new boat or vacation home somewhere.

For some yes. I think Sharon is stretching Ozzy's chicklet to the moon. As far as Metallica goes, go watch that movie they made where they filmed themselves recording one of their more recent albums. It was torture for them to go into the studio. I think they like to just be up on stage or on tour. As far as our opinions go, we are the ones that buy the albums and go to the shows, so yea, maybe they should care about them?
