Stein cassette lockring tools are the best

Hey everyone,

J.A. Stein's bike tools have been around for a while, but not many people know about them. For all you home mechanics out there, if you're looking to add cassette tools to your toolbox, I recommend Stein's Hyper-Handle (P/N: HH-11/12) and cassette lockring driver (P/N: CLD-S).

The Hyper-Handle is more secure and easier to use than a chain whip. Plus, it has a built-in bottle operner. Stein's cassette lockring driver is still the only one I know of that fits a standard 3/8" ratchet, which means it's the only one that can be used with a torque wrench (funny how Shimano prints torque guidelines on the lockring, but doesn't have a tool that can be used with a torque wrench). It costs more than Park's or Shimano's tools, but it's worth it, especially when you consider how much Park charges for the FRW-1.

This is Stein's website: http://www.jastein.com

Currently, the only retailer they sell through is Bike Tools Etc., which is one of the better online tool companies. This is their website: http://www.biketoolsetc.com

Hope this helpful. Keep riding,
