SS 29er Tire opinions

I'm looking for a new front tire on my singlespeed. Currently have a WTB exiwolf for awhile and am looking for fast, great cornering and can handle any NJ terrain. Was possibly considering a nobby nic or wtb wolverine. any suggestions?

Just installed a Maxxis Ardent 2.4 on the front of my rigid 29 SS. Very happy with traction and just enough cushion.

Maxxis Ignitors. The best part about them is you get two tires for the price of one as they work on geared bikes too. 🙂

Getting all three of these in one tire is a tall order, but the Ignitor seems like the best chance that I'm aware of.

The AKA is less aggressive than the Saguaro, btw.

I have Maxxis Ignitors set up tubeless on all 3 of my 29ers. Work great for me and I have no intention of using anything else. I'm also the type of person that finds something that works and sticks with it.

Kenda Nevagal.

I experimented a bit and went back to these. my understanding - niot light or fast but I think it meets the "can handle any NJ terrain" criteria.

On a related topic, if you have UST rims, should you stick with UST tires? I ask b/c I had my first tire burp with my Kenda Nevegals the other day and my friend is putting the idea in my head that its related to them not being UST.

I like my racing Ralph up front and small block out back.

I've heard that the schwalbe tires are prone to flats/punctures/thin sidewalls, how long have you had them? Plus they are double the cost of most. I've had persistent problems with ignitors in the past and unfortunately I'm not a fan.
