Splurge vs Save?

Reminds of that sage old piece of advise from the old timers: Buy a new bike/gun/tool/widget in the same color as the last one and they'll never notice!

A teammate was storing a friend's crotch rocket in his garage. At the time he had a motocross bike. One evening after his wife returned from the garage, she asked, "I thought your motorcycle was blue?"

She even rode/raced DH 20 years ago...

Yeah, I'm struggling with that color choice...Need to see one in person. With that price they should have more color choices.

When they provide more color choices I always have the wrong color in stock. I like bikes that only come in one color.
