Specialized Gromhit 24” – 2008 Canada model
I wanted to see if anyone had interest here on MTBNJ before I list on eBay & Pinkbike.
I bought this bike from a Canadian dealer in 2010 since they were all gone in the US. My son received it brand new as a Christmas gift at the end of 2012. It has 3-4 rides per season at Mountain Creek over the past 3 years and he has now outgrown it. The stock tires are barely worn. I’ve upgrade several parts:
The bike is in great shape, most of it covered in protective tape. No dents or large scratches.

- 9 speed SRAM X-5 / stock X-7 short cage derailleur (stock was 8-speed)
- Shimano Deore LX Hydros (stock was Avid BB5)
- Red Jagwire Hydro and 4mm cable lines
- 20mm Front hub (stock was bolt-on 9MM)
- Sunringle Single-Track camo rims
- Marzocchi 55 TST2 (new, unused, I had 2 of the forks and sold the one he was using last year as part of a build for a friend so I put the new one on this bike)
