Sourlands anybody?

Riding there today and willing to show it off. With all the trail work and natural obstacles at this place, it is well worth the trip. Time is flexible . After 10 is only requirement. Anybody:popcorn:
 
I may head over in the morning for my 3rd day in a row. But 10am may be a little too late for the happiness of my Family. I'll post up later what I decide.

Post up what time you are going to be there. I was thinking about a road ride but I'd like to tag along if you are going early enough. I need to be done by around 11.

What do you think the temp will be at 8? Also frost on rocks and roots make for some interesting times. That being said I could do earlier as well on Sunday morning. Just post up a time and I will try to get over there.

let me translate for everyone. " my bed is so warm in the morning. i will still be sleeping at 8. i wont leave the house until 11. post up a time and i will check at 10:50 when i get up.

That's not 100% true. well maybe 99.99% true. Just keep your cross racing attitude to yourself. :getsome:
 
I'm happy to confirm that the low temp tonight at the Sourlands will be 34 degrees, so no frost will form on the rocks. Conditions will be perfect. Absolutely positively perfect even at the crack of dawn. 😀
 
Sorry for the late response, just got home. I plan to be there at 9.30am so I can semi sleep in. :popcorn:
 
Fun ride today. Conditions were perfect & there was even a lot of hikers. Unfortunately the ride leader didn't show up for his own ride. :hmmm:

I got there at noon. I forgot my wife was going to Philly for the marathon. Took my oldest to basketball. Then I came over. Ride was short lived do to massive sidewall tear that wouldn't even hold the tube inside. By the way one hardly used tire for sale cheap.😛 That place is way fun and hard at the same time.

I guess the handbook doesn't mention letting people know you're not going to show up. Maybe the 2nd printing with cover that.

Ha I don't drink coffee. Kirt next time for sure. Even if I have to ride BryBry's bike. Lord knows he doesn't use it much. Will be there one day at least over holiday if you want to try again. Any others are welcome. BryBry may do a quest appearance if his girl friend lets him.:getsome:
 
Kirt just bring a dozen or so donuts with you next time and Fasterthanliam will smell them from his house..... He'll be there before you can close the car door !!

Bakers dozen is the perfect amount. I hope to see Keith Sly at Sourlands this weekend. Even though he prefers to mtb at places with no mountains or rocks. I figure we can embarrass him into showing up. After such a strong marathon he should murder us on the hills.:getsome:
