Hey all!
I've been back and forth on selling this and after 6 agonizing months of waiting this year for my new hardtail to arrive it's time to seriously put it out there for sale and part ways. Full suspension and I never got along but it's been widely regarded as a great do-everything bike and relatively light; I just like a single gear and punishing myself on rigid or a short travel fork so no sense in fighting that urge. It's been ridden over the last couple of years but not abused, ridden lightly for being a 140/130mm travel bike and the frame is in near perfect condition (I can only find one mark on the top tube from where the brake lever made contact ) and ride-wrap has been installed in key areas along with Specialized's own protective bits. GX AXS derailleur has a few rock scuffs on the cage but shifts flawlessly as well as some rock strikes on the SLX cranks but the crank end protectors took most of the beating.
The details:
- 2021 Stumpjumper Comp build (some upgraded from stock - see below) in Size S4 (equivalent to size Large - I'm 5'11" for reference) - Frame has SWAT storage and bag is included
- 140mm front travel / 130mm rear
- Fox 34 rhythm and Float DPS shock (stock build tuned for the stumpy)
- SLX 4-piston brakes
- SLX cranks w/ 30t ring
- SLX 10-51 cassette
- X-fusion Manic post
Upgrades:
- Industry Nine Hydra hubs built around Stan's Flow MK4 rims
- Industry Nine 318 stem
- Enve M6 bars uncut 780mm wide, low rise
- GX AXS derailleur and shifter
Service:
Fox 34 and Float DPS shock serviced recently (around 7-8 hours on this service)
X-fusion dropper new cartridge installed 3 weeks ago - these wear out over the years and return slows down but are cheap and easy to drop a new one in)
Looking for $2500 for the build ready to ride (and will include a basically brand new set of Specialized Butcher and Eliminator tires with the whole bike - see picture) if you don't like the ultra XC setup I currently have of Rekon/Ikon.
Just want the frameset? For $1200 you can get everything but the GX AXS derailleur, shifter, cassette, and the wheels. Yes, this price includes dropper post, saddle, brakes, crankset, upgraded cockpit, shock and fork; simply add a wheelset of your choice and drivetrain and you're ready to go! I could always keep the hydra/flow wheels with the AXS drivetrain as a backup to throw on the hardtail down the road and you save some cash by grabbing some wheels and a drivetrain on here!
Located in Little Falls/Montclair if you're a Hilltop/Cedar Grove rider, but willing to drive to meet up. I'm available briefly this week, tomorrow evening after 5pm, and will be away through next Monday the 4th but after that will be around; just wanted to throw this up now and will be checking in this week and happy to coordinate something as soon as I return!
