Majorly upgraded large Vitus Sentier 27.5 hardtail ….badass straightforward trail bike
2016 model that won MTBR (UK mtb magazine)trail bike of the year the year before. The frame has standard spacing thru axle front and rear. The geometry with a 66.5 head tube angle/73 seat tube angle 425mm chain stays overall isn’t super slack or super upright. It’s in between and works well for most trail situations. I’ve probably only ridden it about 20-25 times total.
$675
My knee is all torn up and my riding buddy passed away last year. So my time with my bikes is mostly over. I’ve got a couple of others
I’ll probably sell too. But this is the first and it’s a good deal
Upgrades:
i9 Trail 24.5 wheels w torch hubs SRAM xd driver hub
Race Face 1x cranks w narrow wide chainring
Shimano SLX brakes w Shimano Ice rotors
SRAM GX 1x11 rd and shifter
Rock Shox Reba 120mm front fork
Fox Transfer 125mm dropper post
Wolf Tooth lever
Spank Oozy foam filled vibration damping bars
Truvativ Descendant 50mm stem
WTB Trail Boss 2.4 front 2.25 rear
It has Time ATAC xc 6 pedals on it. I don’t have my tools available otherwise I’d have thrown some flats on it
The bike has been sitting for a while The tires inflate with a pump and hold air for a number of hours. So it definitely needs to have some sealant thrown in to the tires. Again no tools or sealant on hand
I’m in Greenpoint, Brooklyn right off of the BQE
