Seriously? It's 221 here now. We're past red and into purple. Killin' me because the weather itself is really nice (aside from the drought we're in, which is another issue).

Personally, I'm a fairly severe asthmatic, so I'm going to be very careful today. If I do decide to ride after work today, it'll only be if the air quality around Philly isn't compromised (and right now everything kind of smells like wood smoke here, so I'm probably going to have to skip it.)

Did 3 hours of trail maintenance today.

Kept getting angry texts from my wife every 20 minutes. She was mostly concerned about the dog, not me.

It was definitely shittier the higher up you hiked. At least I was wearing a mask, unlike the two hikers I ran into, who both looked like they were in their late 60s.

I rode this morning and there was no smoke, around Noon or so Summit was yellow and you could barely see across the street. I have a 600k this weekend 5hours north and they haven't canceled yet with hopes of rain Friday.

At 3:00 work sent everyone home the air handling for the building seems to be terrible because I could smell it and my throat was burning.

Then we were told to work at home tmw but I won’t be riding outdoors if tmw is anything like today. Will update zwift tonight and get it ready.
